Send Us Your Pictures!
We have found that once someone eats at Lambert's Cafe, they come back again and tell their friends about us. We have talked to people in neighboring states who have been to Lambert's, as well as people in Las Vegas, NV, Michigan, Maryland, Jamaica, Germany, Australia, and Russia!
Due to the family like atmosphere of Lambert's, we would like to give you the opportunity to show us your Lambert's pride. Got a picture of someone wearing a Lambert's Cafe shirt or displaying something from Lambert's Cafe? It can be from a far-away place or your own backyard. E-mail it to pics@throwedrolls.com and we will post it below to share with our Internet family. (Gif or Jpeg formats are preferred).
What can you say, but good things!

We went for the experience
We went for the experience. The bread throwing and calling was alot of fun, friends warned me to be prepared for a long wait but we were in line for maybe 15 minutes until we were seated, but maybe it's because we went around 2pm after the lunch rush. It's more of a homestyle restaurant and we weren't really in the mood for that so my hubby and I ended up getting pulled pork sandwiches (delish!!) and baby girl got a hamburger. Over all we're glad we went. Oh and the pass arounds were awesome, atleast the smothered potatoes and cabbage was (neither of us like fried okra or the tomato pasta).Oh and our waitress Delaney was amazing!!

The chicken dinner has the largest pieces of chicken I have ever seen
The rolls that they toss at you are so good that you can't stop at one or two or....... The chicken dinner has the largest pieces of chicken I have ever seen. And so good! I didn't even eat the "pass arounds " which are included because there was no room on my plate. My husband's ham dinner came in a large skillet! Huge. Anyway we took our leftovers with us and had lunch for another day. The drinks are huge also and you need a "to go" cup to take the rest with you. Everyone is so much fun that work here that you can't miss it if you are on your way to Branson, Mo

I PROMISE, you'll leave happy.
So I have been here several times and have yet to write a review. So what made me decide to write a review now? I had a dream about the Ribs and the Rolls. NO JOKE. This place is a must if you are anywhere in the area. And yes, it is absolute worth the long wait.Whether you come with a party of 2 or a party of 10 I guarantee you will have a blast. This southern home cookin' has options that can satisfy any palate!Tip- if you are an uptight, snooty customer, this is NOT the place for you! I'll tell ya why... Part of the fun atmosphere of this restaurant is that they will pull little pranks on you and your table. (i.e. "Squirt" mustard on you, "spill" a tub full of dishes on you, "spill" a pitcher of iced tea on you...) Hilarious for the first- timers!Another amazing part of the Lambert's dining experience is that they come around with a big mama pot of fixin's and you can have as much as your little heart desires. Fried okra, taters, and soo many others. Mmm.One of the highlights of it all; Lambert's famous thrown rolls. An adorable bread boy comes out of the back yelling "Hot Rolls!" and will literally throw the roll to you. So fun! Hands up, head up if not you'll catch those rolls right in the face (& yes, I speak from experience :)My go to dish is always their ribs with a side of their amazing Mac n cheese and spiced apples. (Currently drooling!)But everything I've seen, smell, or tasted has always been awesome.Another tip- they do not split plates! So come hungry! I PROMISE, you'll leave happy.

Already planning a special trip to their location in MO
When we got there (about 7PM), it looked like there were 100 people waiting outside. We were told about 1 hour wait (they were pretty spot on). Figured it was worth it and we were right.Yes, they do literally chuck rolls at you. From across the room. With pretty good aim. Don't worry, they also come around with more. :)What a great idea to serve the drinks in huge mugs. The place was packed and the last thing a server is going to want to mess with is refilling drinks. I also don't like waiting for refills. As soon as you sit down, servers start coming around with dishes of food to put on your plate, or napkin if you haven't gotten there yet. We got fried okra (amazing!) and rolls on napkins. I had the chicken tenders and they were excellent! I also had a side that came around of potatoes and onions. Buttery goodness. There is an option to buy a plate and eat the food that comes around. I might do that next time. It all looked delish and I was so full!Bring your appetite because you'll need it! Also bring cash, because they don't accept cards or checks, but there is an ATM machine in the front.Great atmosphere, we had a great time! Already planning a special trip to their location in MO... :)

Lunch for Labor Day 2012!

Thank You!!
We ate at the Foley restaurant Wednesday the 13th while on vacation. You know I realized the most peculiar thing? I used to think the only reason to go through Foley was to get to Gulf Shores, Wow was I wrong. It was an incredible meal and was so much fun, truly the high point of our vacation. Only problem now is convincing my wife we need to drive 5 hours this coming weekend to go out to eat! Visiting Lambert's was so inspiring to see a business based wholesome American values with the Golden Rule so evidently displayed not only filled our stomachs, it warmed our hearts! God bless!
